Delivery Fees

Halalo strives to deliver your products in a timely and efficient manner. Our delivery service is subject to the below terms and conditions.

Our standard delivery fee is £5.99 if your delivery address is inside the delivery area of the shops that you placed orders with. The delivery fee may vary depending on the size and weight of the items and the delivery address. Our eSellers usually have their own delivery methods and charge separate fee. You can check the delivery fee on their shop homepage. We offer discounted delivery fees to the members of halalo club

We aim to deliver all orders within the estimated delivery timeframe "slot" specified by you at the time of purchase. However, please note that delivery times may vary depending on factors outside of our control, such as weather conditions, traffic, and availability of stock. We will make every effort to inform you of any significant delays to your delivery. Orders placed on any given day should be delivered on time, unless you booked a slot to be delivered on the same day or the following day. We deliver in the afternoon from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm or in the evening from 5:00 pm until 11:30 pm, depending on the slot that you booked at the checkout.

Our main delivery method is the Halalo standard delivery service that we fulfil with our own fleet of refrigerated vans. We offer same-day and next day delivery, depending on the availability of the slots when you book your delivery. You can also prebook your delivery up to two weeks in advance. The availability of the service may vary depending on the delivery location and the time of purchase.

After completing your shopping, you will be required to book your preferred delivery slot. We would like to encourage you to join our halalo club when it's up and running, where you will enjoy various perks such as discounted delivery fees, exclusive discounts on selected products, access to our points collection scheme, priority delivery slots, and we send you a gift on special occasions such as your birthday.

Our eSellers have their own special delivery that usually takes 2-3 days to arrive, however it could arrive earlier or later depending on many factors such as the courier company. You can check each eSeller delivery fee on their shop homepage. If you place an order for delivery from a physical shop together with another from an eSeller, you will have to pay for the delivery of each separately at checkout. However, if you place an order from several shops in the same area, and use our standard delivery service, you will pay for the delivery only once.

We appreciate your understanding and support in using our platform, and we hope that our delivery methods will provide you with a convenient and satisfactory shopping experience.

We reserve the right to restrict deliveries to certain areas or countries based on legal or logistical considerations. We may also refuse to deliver to certain addresses if we deem it unsafe or if we suspect fraudulent activity.

We might also refuse to deliver certain products such as flammable or explosive items. For full information about delivery restrictions, please review our "Terms of Service".

If there is any delivery restrictions on your account or specifically on your address, we will keep you informed and your money will be refunded.

We will provide you with an order confirmation email once the order has been placed and we will send you SMS with the ETA once the order is dispatched. This confirmation will include tracking information, where applicable. Customers are advised that they can track the status of their orders, to do so, you need to Log In to your account, and click on Track my order, where you can check the status of your order and track your delivery driver. This tracking service is to ensure our customers are always updated with what is happening with their orders until it is delivered. 

Customers have the right to return any product purchased from sellers at halalo.co.uk within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is non perishable, unused, unopened and in its original packaging and condition received. We will provide a refund for the purchase price of the product, but not the delivery fee. 

In some cases customers may be responsible for the cost of return shipping, depending on the reason for the return or refund.

Please note that Halalo is not liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from late or failed delivery unless caused by intentional negligence. We will not be held liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our delivery service.

At Halalo, we take great pride in providing fast and reliable delivery service for our customers. We use our own fleet of vans to fulfill customers' orders, ensuring that they receive their items in a timely and efficient manner.

However, some sellers on our marketplace, such as the eSellers, may choose to fulfil their orders and charge their own delivery fees. While we strive to provide our customers with the best possible service, we cannot control the delivery practices of these sellers because the delivery process is handled by a third party delivery company.

In the event that a dispute arises between the customer and any of these sellers, we recommend that customers try to resolve the issue directly with the seller in question. If the dispute is not resolved within 14 working days, Halalo may intervene to help resolve such disputes.

We want our customers to have a positive experience when shopping on our platform, and we will do our best to ensure that any disputes are resolved in a fair and timely manner. However, we strongly advise our customers to first contact the seller and try to resolve any issues directly with them, as this is often the fastest and most effective way to resolve disputes.

Halalo takes the sale and delivery of age-restricted items seriously and we are committed to complying with all applicable UK laws and regulations. In order to ensure that these items are not sold to individuals who are not of legal age to purchase them, we may ask customers to provide proof of age upon delivery.

Examples of age-restricted items include tobacco products, e-cigarettes,  knives, scissors, or any other sharp items, this may also include all over-the-counter medicines which cannot be administered to certain ages, such as pain killers. If a customer orders an age-restricted item from Halalo, we will require that they show valid identification that confirms they are of legal age to purchase the item. We accept a valid UK driving license, passport, or other government-issued ID as proof of age.

If a customer is unable or unwilling to provide proof of age, we reserve the right to refuse delivery of the age-restricted item. Additionally, if our delivery driver suspects that the customer is underage or attempting to purchase an age-restricted item for someone who is underage, we reserve the right to refuse delivery.

It is important to note that some sellers on our marketplace, such as eSellers, may fulfil their own orders and may have their own policies regarding age-restricted items. In such cases, Halalo will not be held liable for any delivery practices that happen outside of our own controlled delivery service. Halalo would like to remind our customers that any age-restricted items that are delivered directly by our independent sellers will not be the responsibility of Halalo. 

While we do our best to ensure that all sellers on our platform comply with UK laws and regulations, we are not able to fully control their sales and deliveries. Therefore, we advise our customers to check the details of their purchase and the seller's information carefully before making a purchase. In the event that an age-restricted item is delivered by an independent seller, any issues or concerns related to the sale or delivery of such items should be raised directly with the seller.

We understand that delivering perishable items such as food and flowers requires special care and attention to ensure that they reach you in the best possible condition. As such, we have implemented specific procedures to ensure that these items are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

All perishable items will be packaged appropriately to maintain their freshness during transit. Our delivery team is trained to handle these items with care and to deliver them within the specified timeframe to avoid any spoilage or damage.

It is important to note that customers must be available to receive perishable items upon delivery. If no one is available to receive the items, our delivery team/driver will leave a notice and attempt to contact the customer to reschedule the delivery. However, we cannot guarantee the condition of perishable items if they are not received on the first delivery attempt.

In addition, some perishable items may have specific delivery requirements such as refrigeration. In such cases, our delivery team will make every effort to ensure that the items are delivered in appropriate conditions.

Please note that perishable items are non-returnable and non-refundable once delivered, except in cases where they are defective or do not meet our quality standards.

Lastly, we would like to remind customers that it is their responsibility to ensure that they are available to receive perishable items upon delivery and that they are stored appropriately to maintain their freshness.

We will deliver your order to the selected address on your Checkout. Please note that our delivery prices vary according to the value of your order and whether you are a Halalo club member or not. We usually deliver next day unless you booked an earlier or a later delivery slot. We collect your shopping from your favourite shop, and deliver to you within 4-6 hours from collection, using our refrigerated vans.
